Each year, beyond being involved in the charities I’ve been supporting
for over 20 years, I also help the « Restos du Cœur » by benevolently
recording some of their short programmes that are aired on channel TF1
during the hardest time of the year for those in need: early December
to late March. Helping “the little idea” started by Coluche (a famous French humorist) to prosper by explain to the public the importance of some 71,000 volunteers who not only distribute 135 million meals but who also run
340 French language classes, 90 after-school programmes and 227 internet learning classes, the Restos Bébés du Coeur, and the Restos where one can go have a cup of coffee, spend some time in a warm place, make contact with others
and therefore make steps towards a normal life. It’s so important to bring
these dedicated people into the limelight.
This year, once again, I’m thrilled to be able to help this great cause. “We’re counting on you?” Well you can count on me !
